ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT STEPHITA WEDDING INVITATIONS
All of the invitations, menus, placecards, favour tags, favour boxes, church programs, thank you cards, seen on our website are all custom, handmade work by Stephita Wedding Invitations.
CUSTOMIZING YOUR INVITATIONS
We have large selection of pearlized, non-pearlized papers in an assortment of colours that can be used on any style seen on our website! Invitations are the first impressions your guests will have of the wedding, so let us try to accommodate any themes or ideas you have!
Many of our styles use a custom monogram that is based on your names. Typically it's the bride's first initial followed by the grooms last name initial then the groom's first name initial. Some couples choose not to use the last name initial, opting instead for just the '&' sign in between their names. If you have a custom monogram that you have designed or a friend has designed for you we can certainly incorporate that into the design of the invitation.
DESTINATION AND THEME WEDDINGS
Many of the styles use a motif that will give the guests an idea of the type of wedding occasion you are planning. For instance, destination weddings, may use motifs such as palm trees, seashells, sun, starfish, and many more. Other motifs we have used on other theme weddings are castles, snowflakes, flowers, dice, roses, orchids, Celtic symbols, Chinese characters, and many more. If you have a good quality image that you want to incorporate into your invitations, please let us know or if you had something in mind that you would like us to try to find for you we can do that too!
TAG/SEAL ON INVITATION
Positioning and sizes of tags on the invitation styles can also be changed. As you browse through our catalog of designs, you will notice that the positioning of the tags can vary from being in the center, to any of the four corners, to hanging off of an invitation flap. We can alter the position of the tag to any spot that is possible on the style that you choose.
All of our invitation folders/pocketfolders are made in-house at Stephita Warehouse so we can change many of our folders, adding or taking away pockets, changing the style of pockets and the orientation of any of the invitation folders (vertical to horizontal and vice versa) and the paper colour they are made in.
ADDITIONAL INVITATION INSERTS AND MAPS
You can include additional inserts to go along with your wedding invitations. Most common inserts used include: maps, direction cards, reception information, donation cards, additional RSVP cards, hotel accommodations, travel information, gift registry and an entourage list. Any insert 3 ½ x 4 ¾ inches in size (same size as the reply card) is an extra $0.40 each. Maps are a $65 flat fee for black ink and a $75 flat fee for coloured maps. If the style of invitation can accommodate a "stacked/staggered insert" look, the larger inserts are $0.60 each. They are all printed on white or cream cardstock to match the invitations.
MORE THAN ONE LAYOUT OR RESPONSE CARD
If you need more than one layout (for example if you are inviting some guests to the church and reception and some guests to the reception only) we will happily do that for you. Just let us know how many of each version you will need. We can also print response cards with more than one response date if needed, free of charge!
Alternate languages can be used. You can either make the entire invitation in one language, or if the style allows for it, include an additional language on another attached insert, or as an additional insert in the pocket of the invitation. For Chinese language set up it is a $40 flat fee and for most other languages it is a $20 set up fee. Please inquire with us to get exact pricing.
Once you have chosen the style of invitation we provide a few traditional wording layout templates for you to use as a guide to start from, but if you have your own wording in mind, we can definitely use that instead - as long as it fits within the amount of space we have to work with. If you want to add a short poem or verse to either the cover, or tag/seal of the invitation, that can also be done.
INK COLOURS AND METHODS OF PRINT
You can use multiple ink colors on the layouts however, we recommend only using 2 colors to match your paper and ribbon colours. For flat printing we can accommodate more than one colour of print and we can pretty much print in any colour. For raised/thermography print we can print only in one colour. It is a $100 flat fee for raised/thermography print and colours available are gold, silver, black, brown, navy, burgundy and hunter green. If your invitation wording and inserts will not all fit on an 8.5 x 11 layout size additional fees will apply. Please also note, you will need to upgrade the paper stock (+$0.50) to a "pearl paper" (i.e. antique pearl, ice pearl, champagne pearl, buttermilk pearl, ivory pearl, white gold pearl).
CARDS FOR ALL OCCASIONS
We've cater to many Corporate events, Bar/Bat Mitzvah's, Baptism, Birthday/Anniversary, House Warming & other types of parties & events! Please contact us for further information, so that we can help set the tone for your important day!
All of our invitations are shaped like a square when the invitation is "closed". The standard size we use is 5.5 x 5.5 inches with the envelopes being 6 x 6 inches in size. We can alter the invitations so that they are larger or rectangular however, larger sizes will incur more postage and more material costs. Typically to enlarge an invitation or change the size is an extra $1.50. Most of our invitations do require extra postage not because of the size but because of the thickness of the overall package. Single panel invitations with no bows will be standard postage. Please check with your local post office for more information when mailing the invitations.
We get many requests for different configurations of our invitations - we will provide our expert opinion on the requests that you may have to ensure that your invitations come out beautifully. As you can see, all of our work is custom and handmade, so we are able to accommodate most requests.
